Week #32 - Trioooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
That's supposed to sound like when someone scores a goal in soccer.
(GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOALLLLLLL!!!!!)
Anywho, this past week was kinda slow, but there was still some good that came, because a positive person can find the good, in anything!
Moth
BUT, we were able to go do some service for Brother Johnson, the absolute LEGEND. We had to move some heavy marble table tops and I could feel my muscles being SUPER used, haha. C'mon, I swear I lifted with my legs. No injuries occurred, which was good. Brother Johnson then let us take some cool pics with his guns, so I call that a BIG win!
On another day, we were tracting around and we walked up a loooooooong driveway. I started to think that nothing could happen from this, but, Jesus likes to prove me wrong, about 100% of the time. So, a very nice lady answers the door and is like, "come on in!" I was like, "Are there any males home?" and she says, "yes sir, now get in here!" So, we walked in and she told us that she wasn't too interested in our message. So, we got a little social and got to know her a little more and she is super nice! Then, eventually. I brought up the topic of The Book of Mormon and asked if she had ever read it. She said no. I offered her a copy and she gladly accepted and said she'd read it! We read the introduction with her and I was like, this church is God's true church upon the earth today and I know that's a super bold statement, but you need to pray to know if this is true. She agreed to do so and I was like, SWEET. We set up a return appointment and went on our way. So, that was super cool.
Honestly nothing too much that was significant happened this week, but I am LOVIN' LIFE.
I have been reading, in Ether, lately and I have been seeing the pattern of how people go into sin and then go back to righteousness when things get tough. But in the end, the whole civilization is taken down by secret combinations. So, what we need to do is watch ourselves always and make sure we are striving to live righteously. A good way to lead a righteous life is to continually develop Christ-like attributes. I have been working on charity and I can say that I have an easier time putting away my own desires to help out others. Charity is super awesome guys.
ANYWHO, I hope y'all have a FANTASTIC week and that you'll all see the light in everything you do.
Adios!
