Week #83 - Chevy Days

Haha LOOOOOOOL

He done fell asleep

Okay let's just say, dealerships can be the worst sometimes LOL. But it's all good. Our car was being dumb.   So we had to go to the dealership like 3 days in a row, cuz they were taking a LOOONG time. But like I said, it's all good. We actually had an opportunity to share the message of the restoration with one of the workers there.  She was asking us questions and so we shared what we do and what we share. She seemed interested and even took a Book of Mormon and said she would try to make it to church, if she had time! That was so cool.

Us at the Chevy dealership

We had a chance to go on exchanges with the Zone Leaders, Elders Dyer and Elder Baumann. It was LEGIT. I went with Elder Dyer and we walked around in the cold and froze our booties off, but we met some really cool people along the way. We stopped by a member, cuz I had to usar el baΓ±o. They gave us hot cocoa afterwards, so it was deeeelicious.

Elder Rasmussen and I were sitting in McDonald’s waiting for a lady to show up, so we could teach her and a dude walked up to us.  He started yelling at us that we were preaching false doctrine and called us some not so nice names. It was honestly a sad experience, cuz we tried to talk with him, but he didn't wanna hear it.  It kinda just reaffirmed to me that there is opposition in all things and that there are some days where we need a good yelling at.   It made me start to think about how much harder the Savior had it.  I was able to realize that my life is nowhere as hard as his was, when it comes to opposition. So I let it slide past me.

We went to a Mardi Gras parade with Joe for a little bit on Thursday

WE GOT THEM BEADS

Hey y'all! The April General Conference is coming up. SO GO READ ABOUT THE RESTORATION IN PREPARATION!!!!!!! It's gonna be so cool!!!! You can get started here

Something I've noticed is that Joseph Smith had so much opposition after the first vision and he was 14. Why would people from everywhere go out of their way to try and prove a 14 yr. old boy wrong? It's cuz he had the truth.

I hope y'all had a great week and that you have a great week this week!
