Week #72 - Nativity 😬👌


What's good y'all????? I am having a blast here, in Porter, and we are finding a lot of success 👍. I know it's only possible because of the Lord though. Sorry I'm super bad at writing, but I don't have a lot of time left to write today. But hey, here we go.

So, we had MLC (Mission Leadership Conference) this week.   We learned a lot about how we can be better at finding and helping the people we have progress to baptism. We talked about how we need to not let fear into our heart, because that's how Satan gets us down. It was super cool, because when we build our faith, we become more confident in what we have to share.

Then, we went and shared what we learned with the Districts in our Zone, on Friday, and got some pumped missionaries ready to go find people to teach. Then, we went to the temple with some of our recent converts.  It was super fun!

Then on Saturday, we finalized Mark’s Baptismal date.  He is ready to go for this weekend! He's gonna get baptized on the 14th @ 6:30pm 😎😎😎

We also went to the Nativity that Kingwood puts on, where there are 100’s of nativities set up and live music.  There were a lot of people there. It was such a great experience to remember the birth of our Savior. I loved it.  It was so great.

Week #92.1 - Corona Days: STORMS!

April 28, 2020 Pic from last time Big thunder clap today. Lots of rain.   We set up Dee's interview for baptism for Thursday and he is also meeting with the Bishop tomorrow. He's so ready. I appreciate 1 Nephi 3:7 cuz Nephi went and did, and I want to keep that attitude as I am finishing my mission. I love Nephi and his example of staying strong in his faith. Also, the spirit totally warned us to go home as we were driving in the rain. So we did and we felt good. We figured out the reason was because we needed to call one of the people we were teaching. They needed to be uplifted and wouldn't have been had we been driving still. So, follow the spirit y'all! I am staying strong y'all! I have never felt better about my mission. Week #18 - Ooooo it's a BIG turkey. Oh and what a fire week. 😆😆😆

Wazaaaaaaaaaaa!?!?!? First off, Elder Morris, I believe in you and know you'll do great things.  Second, Elder Ure, you have a wonderful smile.  Third, Elder Ewell, I miss having luaus with you.  AND NOW, ooo wee what a week.    Me n' Loynd Butterfly landed on a dude So, we had a short p-day last week.  So we went and got a pizza that a member bought us. It was real good. But then, at the end of that day, the Zone Leaders came over and said they were gonna blitz our area with us. I was very happy about that.    Funny comic And so the next morning, we went out and ran around a track. Then we had a really great breakfast of scrambled eggs and deer sausage. Sooooo goooood 🍳🦌😍😍😍😍😋. But yeah, I went around with Elder Davies and we met some really cool people and a member gave us Tamales.
