Week #68 - Hospitaaaaaaal

Heyooooo!

What's good my dudes?  I hope life is treating y'all well and that you are seeing miracles!  Cuz I know I am :)

Some Elders had dry ice, so we made some fog.

ELDER WALTER!!!!

But here we go:

So, basically nothing TOO cool happened this week, but it was still good.  We went on exchanges, with the APs (Assistants to the President).  I went with Elder Nelson and it was super fun!  We got a call around 2pm, to go to the hospital and give a guy a blessing!   So, we went to the hospital and met Enrique!   He's been at the hospital for about 2 months now and his heart has really softened.   It was a cool experience, cuz we got to give him a blessing and he wants us to visit him every other day now.   So, we're gonna become his buds and also teach him about the gospel and he's gonna see the happiness that comes from learning about the gospel :)))

District Council in Livingston (feat. me, Elder Farley, and Sister Fluhman)

Next fun story, we heard that one of our people we are teaching got taken to jail,  cuz his wife's ex-husband tried to send the CPS at them with some false charges.  They pulled up his record and found a SUPER old warrant and they took him.  We got a text about it and that was a BUMMER, but we kept praying that he would get released.  THEN, on Friday, we got a text saying that he got out!  Straight miracle :)  He came to church on Sunday!   He told us that he went to court and the Judge said that the warrant was way too old and they dropped the charges.  He told us that he was glad he did it because he was able to make restitution, for the things he had done and he super understands the repentance process.  He still wants to get baptized!!! His date is for the 7th of December :))))))

 rescue visits

Elder Farley :)

We are planning on putting another person on date this week, so pray for us!

 I'm a ghostbuster/Luigi ;)

Biking Saturday!

 More biking!!!!

I really don't know what to write about. I hope y'all have a great Veterans Day!!!!

Love ya,

Elder Furphy

36 Behold, the Lord hath created the earth that it should be inhabited; and he hath created his children that they should possess it.  (1 Nephi 17:36)

How cool is that! Our Heavenly Father has provided a place for us to learn and grow and that is the EARTH!!!! This life is such a great opportunity that we have to learn about our Savior and learn how to get on the path of ETERNAL LIFE!!!!! SO, keep on learning and growing with knowledge and the gospel!!
