Week #67 - Bind the Lord ;)


So! This week was super sweet! Lots of success for Elder Farley and me. We are trying to do as much as we can to help the Lord in this great work! So here's what happened...

I went on an exchange with the Atascocita Elders this week.  I was also in a trio with Elder Kerr and Elder Johnson and that was a ton of fun. Their car was in the shop and so we got to drive the Buna mobile around. That was a huge throwback to the beginning of my mission haha 😂. But yeah, we were trying to figure out where to go and I felt that we should go to this neighborhood and walk around and we found 2 people to teach! That was so cool! The Lord knows where to lead us always.

Elder Farley and I were able to get 5 people at church, on Sunday, and that was so sweet! We had, Mark, The Faucettes, and the Romanian couple. IT WAS SO COOL. The Romanian couple was happy to be there. We also had a member come, that knew Romanian, and was able to talk to them and it was a really cool experience!

Since it was fast Sunday, I thought I would ask the Lord to help us find 3 new people to teach. So I prayed and asked where we should go to find 3 new people and the 494 popped into my mind and so I wrote that down and went to bed. During my fast, I kept asking where we can go and was looking at our map and saw a little neighborhood next to the 494 and I knew we had to go there. So, after church, we did.    We walked down the road talking to everyone and we found NO ONE. BUUUUT, at the END of the road, we found ONE person to teach! Then on the way back, we found ANOTHER person to teach. I know the Lord was blessing us for our diligence. THEN, after dinner, we went by this one guy and we met his girlfriend and she wants to learn more! So by the end of the day we found 3 new people to teach. It was super sweet and we bound the Lord. It was a good deal.

Anywho, I know the gospel is true and it's a fun time out here. READ THE BOOK OF MORMON!!!! It's so cool!

April 28, 2020 Pic from last time Big thunder clap today. Lots of rain.   We set up Dee's interview for baptism for Thursday and he is also meeting with the Bishop tomorrow. He's so ready. I appreciate 1 Nephi 3:7 cuz Nephi went and did, and I want to keep that attitude as I am finishing my mission. I love Nephi and his example of staying strong in his faith. Also, the spirit totally warned us to go home as we were driving in the rain. So we did and we felt good. We figured out the reason was because we needed to call one of the people we were teaching. They needed to be uplifted and wouldn't have been had we been driving still. So, follow the spirit y'all! I am staying strong y'all! I have never felt better about my mission. Week #18 - Ooooo it's a BIG turkey. Oh and what a fire week. 😆😆😆

Wazaaaaaaaaaaa!?!?!? First off, Elder Morris, I believe in you and know you'll do great things.  Second, Elder Ure, you have a wonderful smile.  Third, Elder Ewell, I miss having luaus with you.  AND NOW, ooo wee what a week.    Me n' Loynd Butterfly landed on a dude So, we had a short p-day last week.  So we went and got a pizza that a member bought us. It was real good. But then, at the end of that day, the Zone Leaders came over and said they were gonna blitz our area with us. I was very happy about that.    Funny comic And so the next morning, we went out and ran around a track. Then we had a really great breakfast of scrambled eggs and deer sausage. Sooooo goooood 🍳🦌😍😍😍😍😋. But yeah, I went around with Elder Davies and we met some really cool people and a member gave us Tamales.
