Week #41 - In Conclusion, YeeYee!
Why hello, hello!
(Credits to Elder Ure)
Yeeyee indeed. This week was a big one spiritually. Mainly cuz we went to the Houston Temple with lil' Sean.
BUT! Elder Boam and I have been rocking it out here! We are planning to get some stuff DONE here in Woodville. There is so much potential and we are excited to meet our goals, with the aid of the Lord on our side bb.
We put EJ on date for baptism. He is excited to learn more about the gospel, and change his life to come closer to his Savior, Jesus Christ! EJ is a cool dude.
We are fixing to put this lady, named Whitney, on date. We both think she will accept very willingly. She is looking for a place that will be warm and welcoming. She is looking to change and follow Jesus Christ. SO, I am so excited for her!
We have done a bunch of tracting this week, and it is paying off! We are planting seeds and becoming better missionaries along the way. We have met a ton of really nice people. Some of them aren't all that interested and stuff, but they give us cold drinks, so that's super nice. We done scored some powerade yesterday. That was nice.
Scary moment:
We were walking around and knock on this kinda sketchy house and a voice from the inside says, "come in" and so we do and it was like a scene right out of "The Shining". We were in the front room and it was kinda dark, and there were dolls all over the place. There was an older gentleman, in the kitchen, with a walker walking away from us and there was a light dangling on a string in the kitchen and that was the only light. I was like, "hmmmmmmmmmmmmm". Elder Boam asked him if he wanted to learn about the gospel. The man said no. So, as we opened the front door to leave, a stray cat just bolted into the house and disappeared into the darkness of the house. We left and continued on. It was a little scary.
We went to the Houston Temple with lil' Sean! I am so happy for him. He felt really good being there and he wants to keep on going back! He had a great time and he is making a ton of progress!

Spiritual Thought: Helaman 3:29-30
29 Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked—
30 And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers,to go no more out.
I love how it literally tells us that when we rely upon the word of God and Follow Him, we will be supported in all we do and be able to avoid sin and temptation. And in verse 30, the awesome promises is that we will receive exaltation and sit on the right hand of God. We should all strive to Follow the gospel and ENDURE TO THE END!!! It's like super worth it.😎
Anywho, I hope y'all have a great week and smile at everyone!
