Week #31 - Sister Lee Comes in Clutch!
HEYO
What a time to be alive. This week was wack. Not much happened, but some stuff happened. So, let's begin.
So first, we saw that our area barely goes into Louisiana and as one does, we decided it would be good to go find people out there. But, there seems to be a reason that there has been no activity out there. It's because literally no one lives out there. But we were determined to get into Louisiana. So, we drove the hour it takes to get there and we went down some back roads. Eventually, we had to walk the last mile to the border. When we got there, Elder Hazelton and I looked at each other and ran across the border. So yes, I have been to Louisiana on my mission now.

Big surprise came on Thursday. So Elder Hazelton and I were just beginning to start our studies and then I got a call from President Hewlett. He asked us if we were ready to be in a trio and I was like, "oh heck yeah" and so he said that Elder Horikami would be joining us for the rest of the transfer. He's super cool and is a blessing to be around.
I went on exchanges, with Elder Douglass, this weekend, in Silsbee and it was super sweet. We were able to go by a bunch of less actives and were able to set up a bunch of appointments.
On Saturday, a person bought us all lunch at Chuck's and it was so good. We got some redneck nachos. So that was nice. We were also able to go see David which was super nice. He's doing good.
Yesterday, we got to go to the Mission President's Fireside and it was really good. They had some recent converts share their testimony and then the Presidency spoke. It was focused on the Atonement and I loved it.
BUT, yeah, it has been a slower week, but I am excited to do more work this coming week.
Y'all are awesome and I hope you have a great week!
Love,
