Week #3.2 - Email from Mission President Hewlett


Your Missionary has arrived safely to T.H.E. Mission! Upon arrival we met your missionary at the airport.  They went to the Mission Home had dinner and a Family Home Evening. Tuesday they will be focused on training and interviews conducted by President Hewlett.  Then they met their new companion and were transported to their area of service. They are now out diligently searching for our Heavenly Father's children and doing the work of the Lord. Thank you for sending your daughters and sons to us. They have added great strength to our small army here in the Texas Houston East Mission. We love them and are so grateful to have them with us. You will find attached a picture of your newly arrived missionary with Sister Hewlett and myself.  Later we will send a picture with their trainer. (Attached is their picture; email back if wrong picture!)

We are writing to confirm your e-mail address. We use this method to keep you informed in case of hurricanes or in getting you other important information concerning T.H.E. Mission.

April 28, 2020 Pic from last time Big thunder clap today. Lots of rain.   We set up Dee's interview for baptism for Thursday and he is also meeting with the Bishop tomorrow. He's so ready. I appreciate 1 Nephi 3:7 cuz Nephi went and did, and I want to keep that attitude as I am finishing my mission. I love Nephi and his example of staying strong in his faith. Also, the spirit totally warned us to go home as we were driving in the rain. So we did and we felt good. We figured out the reason was because we needed to call one of the people we were teaching. They needed to be uplifted and wouldn't have been had we been driving still. So, follow the spirit y'all! I am staying strong y'all! I have never felt better about my mission. Week #18 - Ooooo it's a BIG turkey. Oh and what a fire week. 😆😆😆

Wazaaaaaaaaaaa!?!?!? First off, Elder Morris, I believe in you and know you'll do great things.  Second, Elder Ure, you have a wonderful smile.  Third, Elder Ewell, I miss having luaus with you.  AND NOW, ooo wee what a week.    Me n' Loynd Butterfly landed on a dude So, we had a short p-day last week.  So we went and got a pizza that a member bought us. It was real good. But then, at the end of that day, the Zone Leaders came over and said they were gonna blitz our area with us. I was very happy about that.    Funny comic And so the next morning, we went out and ran around a track. Then we had a really great breakfast of scrambled eggs and deer sausage. Sooooo goooood 🍳🦌😍😍😍😍😋. But yeah, I went around with Elder Davies and we met some really cool people and a member gave us Tamales.
