Woweeeeeee! This was quite the week. Too much happened and I can't believe it's already week 6 of the transfer. This has been so great.  Brother Brown, from the Lakeshore Ward, came and  helped with move!!!! It was good to see him again. SO! We were able to go to Cleveland, this week, to conduct a baptismal interview with a nice lady named Mary.  She is super ready to be baptized!!! I am so happy that she took the steps to be able to enter the waters of baptism and continue on the covenant path. We later heard that her baptismal service went very well, so that was good to hear. 😀 We got some SUNNY D THEN, we went by some less-active members this week.  We got to put some cool birds on our shoulders. We also shared a very heartfelt message about the atonement of Jesus Christ. We focused more-so on the fact that we can feel a forgiveness of our sins when we rely upon His atonement and I can tell it touched the family's hearts.    M...

Week #55 - Spanish Land (¡ay que fabulosa!)

Image
What a week this has been. Honestly, time has never flown so fast for me!!! I have spent 2 days in Spanish land this week and it was the most wild time of my mission, so far. SO let's begin! So I went on an exchange, in Oakhurst, with Assistant to the President (AP) Elder Coy, (the man). He and I went to all the Spanish areas within our area because Elder Coy can speak Spanish. I decided that would be an effective use of the bilingual abilities, that we have. We actually found a lot of success from that, so that was cool. A random Mexican man tried to give us some Whiskey, but, we kindly declined. Elder Coy also ate a tiny little frog he found. So that was WILD.    Elder Coy and I    We found a secret pathway in New Caney Elder Peterson, Me, and Elder Coy all waxed our fingers My next exchange was on Friday.  I went with Elder Garcia in Spanish Land. I had NO CLUE what people were saying the entire time, but I was able to bear my testi...

Week #54 - It's time for Africa

Hello one and all!!!!!!! I am having a grand ol' time out here, in Oakhurst! Elder Peterson and I are doing some good work! Fun story: This is President Morales. He is in the mission presidency.  He knows the Fullmers back home in my ward. He is a very awesome man.   SUNSET Sunset bb I had two exchanges to go on this week. One with Elder Kerr and another with Elder Jensen. Both were sweet. I went to Cleveland first with Elder Jensen.  We helped a guy move his entire apartment, which was totally dope. We moved a HEAVY couch up to the second floor and that was a trial of my faith. We got it up though. So Heavenly Father pulled through. gg.   This is the most Texas mug I have ever seen                                                                         ...
